19 Oct Show Racism the Red Card
Today the whole school stood up against racism by dressing in red and raising funds for the charity Show Racism the Red Card. We chose the occasion to unveil a huge sign stating that we are an anti-racist school. The sign was designed by the competition winners who pooled their thoughtful ideas to make a very striking final design with a very strong message. We are proud of all our children and their enthusiasm for this day. We are proud that they wanted to stand together with one single objective: to include everyone and actively oppose racism in all its forms. Today was more than just a celebration; it was a collective declaration that discrimination has no place in our school. This striking new sign serves as a daily reminder that we are committed to equality and to being a truly anti-racist community—one where we educate ourselves, challenge prejudice, and ensure every single child feels safe, valued, and respected.
