07 Oct International Day of Languages – 26th September
To celebrate International Day of Languages and Cultures last Thursday, the children and adults enjoyed a special International Day of Languages menu including lovely food such as Paella, Patatas Bravas, Moussaka, Spanish meatballs and ice cream!
The hall was decorated with World flag bunting, and the children enjoyed dancing to many traditional and modern music from different countries, such as flamenco, reggae, welsh music, African, Indian and Caribbean music, along with many others. We loved watching the longest conga line go around the playground!
The children talked about their heritage with pride and learnt many facts and customs from their friends’ countries.
