30 Apr Great Athletes Event – Wednesday 19th March 2025
On March 19th, our school welcomed a really inspiring guest, Sean-Rose Paralympian, for an unforgettable visit. The children now know him for his remarkable achievements in the world of para-sports. Sean-Rose’s visit served as a powerful reminder of determination, resilience, and the importance of embracing challenges. His message really made our children reflect, as he emphasised the importance of perseverance, hard work, and maintaining a positive mindset when faced with challenges, a message which reflected and embedded our PSHE learning over the half term.
The children also had to work hard in the circuit sessions they all took part in, where the children had to demonstrate teamwork, self-confidence, and physical fitness. They should all be proud of themselves. There was a lot of huffing and puffing!!
And to add to the success of the day you all raised an incredible £7,066.25. This means we will receive a voucher to the value of £3,718.65 to spend on PE equipment. Another big well done to you all; Bounds Green children have really sparkled.
As our school continues to foster an environment of inclusivity, determination, and respect, Sean-Rose’s visit serves as a powerful reminder that no dream is too big to achieve.
Thank you and well done everybody!
