The 20 members of the School Council represent the views of all the children in the school. They meet with the Deputy Head and the School Business Manager, at least once a month to discuss ideas they bring to the School Council from Class Council discussions.
During School Council meetings, the Reps take time to listen to each other’s views and then decide on which things they will try to make happen.
In September and again in February the children who are interested in standing for election, with support from their peers put together election campaigns. At the end of the campaigns each candidate will stand for election and a vote takes place in each class. A boy and a girl from each class with the highest votes become the Class Council Reps
