Welcome to Bounds Green!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our Federated Schools’ website. We hope our new website is helpful and informative both to families whose children are already at Bounds Green as well as visitors who want to find out more about who we are and what we do.

At Bounds Green our main aim is for our children to be happy, self-confident and fulfilled individuals who learn effectively with mutual respect, kindness and responsibility. We strive to challenge them with opportunities to explore and develop their unique potential.

I would encourage you to have a look at the “Vision, Values & Ethos” section on our Website where you will find our School’s new Vision Statement and how it was produced in partnership with our whole school community.

Our separate Infant and Junior Schools became a formal federation in 2007 under a single Headteacher and Governing Body. Whilst we remain identified as two separate schools officially, for many years now we have operated as a single educational setting, with unity of values and vision. Children, parents and staff experience Bounds Green as one school with a harmony of policy and purpose.

Bounds Green is a happy and diverse community, where we retain our ethos of working in partnership to provide an environment where children and their families feel welcomed and respected. Whilst our School has expanded in size to 3 forms of entry (90 children per year group) since 2016, we are committed to maintaining our ‘small school feel’ ethos, one where each child and every family feel that they are known, recognised and valued. All voices are heard here at Bounds Green.

I feel proud to lead a staff team who are so incredibly dedicated to education, and we all feel privileged to be working alongside such culturally diverse and dynamic children and families.
